THE \u2018FF PROFILE\u2019<\/h5>\n

\u2018fF\u2019 stands for \u201ef<\/em><\/strong>ortgeschritten F<\/strong>ranz\u00f6sisch<\/em>\u201c (\u2018advanced French\u2019). These classes (Years 5 to 7) are for pupils who have a good level of language proficiency (particularly oral) in both partner languages. They have acquired these skills either because they come from a German primary school but were brought up bilingually at home, or because they live in Lorraine with their German parents and attended a primary school there up to Year CM1. Lessons in the partner languages therefore focus heavily on spelling and grammar, whilst subject-specific lessons are taught in both languages from an early stage (see timetable below).<\/p>\n
