Do I need to know French already when I start at this school?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No, that\u2019s not necessary. We focus on learning it very intensively at school.<\/em><\/p>\n

And what if I have problems with French?<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are extra support lessons for that, and there\u2019s also \u2018Etude\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n

Etude? What’s that?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s the after-school care programme from 1 pm to 5 pm.<\/em><\/p>\n

And what other foreign languages can I learn here?<\/strong><\/p>\n

English from Year 6, Spanish or Latin from Year 8. You can also learn Italian here.<\/em><\/p>\n

And what if I don\u2019t know how to cope with my homework, all the tests and all the studying?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We have special training days as early as Year 5 \u2013 for example, \u2018Study Skills\u2019 \u2013 where we\u2019re shown how to organise ourselves.<\/em><\/p>\n

That\u2019s good to know. But what if I have problems with my new classmates?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then it\u2019s best to go to the mediators. They\u2019re older pupils who\u2019ve been trained as mediators. And what\u2019s more, through the \u2018Growing Up\u2019 programme, we learn to keep our cool and stand up for ourselves. There\u2019s also Team Harmony, which is fully committed to combating bullying and carries out specific measures to raise awareness, prevent bullying and provide support.<\/em><\/p>\n

Are there any activities for children who find learning particularly easy and therefore sometimes get bored?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes, there is a course for gifted pupils. It covers topics that are not dealt with in lessons.<\/em><\/p>\n
