En l\u2019espace d\u2019une heure et quart, ce dernier a dress\u00e9 pour eux un panorama des percussions, dont il leur a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 un grand nombre d\u2019instruments. Dans cette perspective, il avait install\u00e9 plusieurs instruments en salle polyvalente, par exemple un vibraphone, une timbale, un gong chinois ou encore un tamtam, qu\u2019il a fait d\u00e9couvrir \u00e0 son jeune public en en jouant lui-m\u00eame &#8211; avec virtuosit\u00e9, puis en laissant les \u00e9l\u00e8ves essayer \u00e0 leur tour ces diff\u00e9rents instruments \u00e0 l\u2019issue de son intervention.<\/p>\n<p>Les \u00e9l\u00e8ves ont eu droit \u00e0 une pr\u00e9sentation particuli\u00e8rement attrayante du parcours d\u2019un batteur professionnel ou encore du son produit par un roulement de tambour, qu\u2019on leur a fait entendre en direct. Combien de fois par minute les baguettes peuvent-elles bien frapper la peau d\u2019un tambour quand on produit un tel roulement ? Pour celui dont l\u2019estimation serait la plus juste, il y avait un CD \u00e0 gagner!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Ensuite, Michael G\u00e4rtner et les \u00e9l\u00e8ves ont entrepris un tour du monde des percussions qui les a men\u00e9s, entre autres pays, du Japon \u00e0 l\u2019Afrique en passant par la Tha\u00eflande. \u00c0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de ce voyage musical il s\u2018est encore trouv\u00e9 assez de temps pour cr\u00e9er en salle polyvalente un ensemble de percussions compos\u00e9 de plus de cent \u00e9l\u00e8ves, sorte d\u2019immense batterie humaine que l\u2019animateur a amen\u00e9e \u00e0 la vie et qui a accompagn\u00e9 Santana en live avant de s\u2019essayer \u00e0 d\u2019excitantes Improvisations sonores.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 la mani\u00e8re des musiciens du groupe STOMP, six percussionnistes professionnels ont m\u00eame d\u00e9tourn\u00e9 une cuisine avec tout son mobilier et les ustensiles qu\u2019elle contient pour faire de la musique. Mais ceci n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 montr\u00e9 aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves qu\u2019en vid\u00e9o et on leur a formellement d\u00e9conseill\u00e9 de prendre exemple sur ces musiciens !<\/p>\n<div
