Il exerce principalement le m\u00e9tier de journaliste sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans les jeux vid\u00e9o et l&rsquo;informatique. Au d\u00e9but, il a donn\u00e9 un aper\u00e7u de son travail et a soulign\u00e9 l\u2019importance d\u2019une recherche minutieuse et d\u2019une v\u00e9rification rigoureuse des sources dans le quotidien d\u2019une r\u00e9daction \u2013 tant dans le journalisme professionnel que lorsqu&rsquo;on participe \u00e0 la r\u00e9daction d&rsquo;un journal d&rsquo;\u00e9tablissement scolaire.<\/p>\n<p>La premi\u00e8re partie de l&rsquo;atelier portait sur le concept de \u00ab fake news \u00bb et son histoire. L&rsquo;intervenant a donn\u00e9 des exemples \u00e9loquents\u00a0 de fausses informations et d&rsquo;erreurs historiques \u2013 des mythes autour de Napol\u00e9on \u00e0 la propagande pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Il est ainsi apparu clairement que la d\u00e9sinformation n\u2019est pas un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne nouveau, mais qu\u2019elle a consid\u00e9rablement \u00e9volu\u00e9 en termes de rapidit\u00e9 et de port\u00e9e gr\u00e2ce aux m\u00e9dias num\u00e9riques.<\/p>\n<p>Le conf\u00e9rencier a ensuite fait le lien avec le pr\u00e9sent : les fake news dans les campagnes \u00e9lectorales, la d\u00e9sinformation dans les conflits et le r\u00f4le croissant de l\u2019intelligence artificielle. M. Schneider a montr\u00e9 comment les outils d&rsquo;IA facilitent la production d&rsquo;images et de vid\u00e9os d&rsquo;un r\u00e9alisme trompeur \u2013 et pourquoi cela rend la v\u00e9rification journalistique encore plus importante.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;atelier proposait un m\u00e9lange instructif d&rsquo;aper\u00e7us historiques, d&rsquo;exemples actuels et d&rsquo;outils pratiques pour lutter contre la d\u00e9sinformation au quotidien. Les membres de la r\u00e9daction ont pu repartir avec de nombreux conseils concrets pour mieux d\u00e9crypter l&rsquo;actualit\u00e9.
