Ms Iris Andraschek-Holzer, a renowned Austrian artist, was invited by Ms Stöhr to give a master class in photography.
On the first day, the main focus of her intervention was « Body and Architecture » and students were invited to discover the school premises in a way they were not accustomed to.
On the second day, which was dedicated to the environment, the 8SL2 students were asked to open their eyes on their surroundings and especially the former harbour area in Saarbrücken, a place that combines the industrial past, nature, and a bourgeoning recreational urban area.
They learned how to use makeshift filters to create interesting photographic effects that are not part of the pre-recorded settings of their smartphones.
