In addition to the compulsory subjects, our school offers lessons in the following optional subjects for upper school pupils, in accordance with recognised curricula:
- English — Spanish — Italian — Latin — Computer Science — Art — Music
Participation is voluntary, but once registered, it is compulsory for the duration of the school year. Lessons take place during the 7th and 8th periods. Pupils who have attended lessons in their elective subjects consistently right up to the Abitur may sit an oral examination as part of their Abitur. This enables them to obtain an official qualification and, in some cases, improve their Abitur average mark.
