🌍 What is an Eco-Representative?
An Eco-Representative is a pupil elected by their class to act as an ambassador and co-leader for sustainable development projects at the school.
Do you want to get involved, suggest ideas and help your school become more environmentally friendly? This role is made for you!
🎯 Your main tasks
As an Eco-Representative, you’ll play a hands-on role in the green transition:
- Reducing waste: Setting up and improving recycling schemes.
- Combating waste: Taking action to reduce food waste.
- Saving energy: Raising awareness about switching off lights and heating.
- Protecting biodiversity: Planting greenery in the playground, creating a vegetable patch or setting up wildlife habitats.
- Communicating: Informing your classmates and encouraging them to take part in projects.
